What brought you to Trade?

I’ve been in the construction industry since my teenage years and love it. I have always felt the need to give back to those who need the most support. Along my career journey, I have seen many people who endured the same as I have. Trade brought something full circle for me. I can help those who are looking for support, compassion, and kindness. Construction is just one industry that can be impacted by a non-profit company like Trade. 

What challenges were you facing before entering the program?

Some challenges are people who understand you and treat you in a professional manner. To be taken seriously regardless of appearances, or culture, or background.
