What brought you to Trade?
Trade came into my life during a period of transition within the company. I was already working in construction, but the organization was evolving, and Trade represented an opportunity to continue growing while gaining exposure to real-world project challenges.
What challenges were you facing before entering the program?
The biggest challenge was scale and responsibility. I was learning quickly in a fast-moving environment, often without a defined roadmap, and balancing that learning curve with the need to deliver results.
How has Trade changed your confidence or outlook?
Trade didn’t remove challenges, but it changed how I approach them. It reinforced confidence in operating under uncertainty and emphasized continuous learning rather than waiting for perfect conditions.
What skills have you learned?
Technically, I’ve strengthened my project management skills, field coordination, and decision-making. Personally, I’ve developed resilience, ownership, and clearer communication in complex situations.”

Can you share a moment when something clicked for you?
Most of my ‘click’ moments happened on the job. Taking something discussed in training and applying it to a real situation — managing scope, people, or risk — is where it really locked in.
What opportunities do you have now that you didn’t before?
I have a clearer understanding of the construction business end-to-end. That perspective gives me a stronger foundation for long-term growth and higher-level responsibility over time.
If someone was unsure about joining Trade, what would you say?
I’d say Trade is a good fit for people who are self-motivated and adaptable. It’s best for those willing to learn by doing and take ownership of their growth.
